  5. This is an update (v1.32) to the sourcecode I posted earlier today (v1.31) 
  6. which allows level selection on Doom1, Doom2 & Heretic WAD files. Replace 
  7. the original files with these sources and that's it - no editing is 
  8. required. DO NOT UPGRADE ANY VERSIONS OF THE SOURCE BELOW 
  9. V1.31!!!!

  11. This is only a patch, so these features are likely to be implemented 
  12. properly in future. In other words, don't get upset if you don't like the 
  13. changes.

  16. Instructions:
  17.  
  18. To load the first available level from any IWAD/PWAD 
  19. file:
  20.  
  21.  > doom.ttp 
  22. doom.wad
  23.  
  24. To load a specific level from a Doom-1 
  25. IWAD:
  26.  
  27.  > doom.ttp doom.wad 
  28. e[episode]m[mission]
  29.  > EXAMPLE: doom.ttp doom.wad 
  30. e1m4
  31.  > Levels range from e1m1 -> e3m9 (e4m9 for Ultimate 
  32. Doom).

  34. To load a specific level from a Doom-2 
  35. IWAD:

  38. map[level]
  39.  > EXAMPLE: doom.ttp doom2.wad
